We're getting really pumped for the release of 3rd Edition. Of course, it wouldn't be as mind-blowing if it weren't for the talented artists working on the 3rd Edition art.
Let's get to know more of our artists, and today, we're featuring Benny Ong.
What's your name?
Benny Ong
Where are you from?
Singapore
What theme are you working on (in KOGs)?
Sea Creatures from the Eastern Ocean Palace. This was inspired by the scene from Journey to the West where Monkey visits the Dragon King of the Eastern Ocean, and the Dragon King had all these fish head soldiers and whatnot.
How did you start in digital art?
I have always been drawing since the 80s. I went digital probably in mid 2000s because I suck at coloring nondigital. I work on Illustrator mostly.
Describe your art style in one word:
Lowbrow.
What do you think are the most important characteristics of your art?
I really don't know. I just want my art to be fun, I suppose.
What's it like working on KOGs?
It's been great!
