3rd Edition Artist Profile – Chau Ngo
June 11, 2021
Say hello to another 3rd Edition artist!

Art has been a big part of KOGs since the 1st Edition. For 3rd Edition, we continue the tradition of making sure that each KOG has a unique characteristic that makes it worth collecting.
Let's meet another artist who gave a significant contribution to the 3rd Edition.
What's your name?
Chau Ngo
Where are you from?
I'm from Vietnam
What theme are you working on (in KOGs)?
A dark fantasy theme. My inspiration for my set of KOGs was coming from chess pieces. They are a combination of the classic chess game, combined with Dark Fantasy Characters, straight from a fantasy novel.
How did you start in digital art?
I have always loved games, and what better way of showing that love, is by making them? I started out as a 3D artist but then saw some awesome concept art, so I tried to do some as well. So I taught myself concept art and started to get more into digital art.
Describe your art style in one word
Chaos (haha)
What do you think are the most important characteristics of your art?
I love to create a small back story for each art piece I do. Since I love doing medieval fantasy art (traditional RPG lover right here), I believe this is an important part of my art.
What's it like working on KOGs?
I loved how I was able to be creative with my art for KOGs. The challenge was to show off each artwork's rankings and power levels through the art itself rather than the rarity of the KOG. But in the end, I like the result pretty much.
Where can we see your other works?
I use my ArtStation profile as my portfolio.
