RFOX Games Donates to Mission Oxygen

Last April 1, we had an auction for a limited-edition KOG, The Excited Banana. Proceeds of the auction went to our PLAY TO EARN, PLAY TO CARE initiative that allows the community to take part in activities that help those in need around the world. As RFOX Games General Manager Fadzly Yusof said, “We were inspired by the generosity of some of our community members that reached out to those in need during these hard times. Some have lost more than we can ever know and reaching out to help others is increasingly important to our company culture as our global community grows larger and more diverse.”
We set aside the proceeds of The Excited Banana auction and searched for a worthy cause. And now, we chanced upon Mission Oxygen and found that it's the institution that needs our help the most.
Mission Oxygen is a non-profit organization that helps hospitals that were running out of oxygen to treat Covid-19 patients in India. In the middle of April this year, we saw India's second wave of Covid-19 become the worst surge in the world to date. With more than 300,000 cases being reported daily, they are running out of hospital beds, medicines, and most importantly, oxygen tanks. Healthcare workers are watching helplessly as their patients die from preventable deaths.
With the support of Koggers all over the world, we are donating US$1,500, which will help Mission Oxygen in their quest to help more people get treatment from Covid-19.
"The Covid-19 pandemic has brought the world down to its knees and it hit harder in densely populated areas like India. The spike in cases that we’re witnessing now has brought more casualties. With our donation, we hope that we can help Mission Oxygen to continue their efforts that are crucial in providing Covid-19 patients access to life-saving equipment and save more people," adds GM Fadzly.
We would like to thank all Koggers for the support you've given us. Because of you, we can help those who are in need.
We also encourage you to donate if you can. Donations are accepted through Ketto, a platform that organizes medical fundraisers in India. Any amount will go a long way. Click here to donate so Mission Oxygen can help more people.
